How do you ship?
Domestic orders ship USPS Priority Mail or UPS within 5 business days unless otherwise noted. You'll receive notification and a tracking number when your package is in transit.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes?
I live in Tucson. Do you offer local pickup?
If you happen to be in Tucson, we can arrange for a local pickup. Just enter the promo code DESERTRAT at checkout and I’ll follow up via email to arrange a time for you to stop by the studio.
Can I return or exchange my purchase?
Typically, goods that arrive as advertised may not be returned. However, if you have any concerns about your order email ursulabasingerceramics@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do.
What kind of glaze do you use?
I use safe, nontoxic and lead-free glazes. I typically only use a satin white glaze, which is carefully prepared with safe materials by my friends at the Tucson Clay Co-op.
Are your ceramics microwave and dishwasher safe and durable?
Yes, I make durable stoneware fired to cone 6 (2232°F) that is microwave and dishwasher safe. Of course, I recommend being gentle with your ceramics and hand-washing them to ensure longevity.
Do you wholesale?
As a company of one person, my ability to produce for wholesale is limited. However, I occasionally collaborate with other businesses if the timing and fit is right, so do reach out with inquiries.
Do you offer discounts?
As a small business I am unable to offer discounts or free product. However, I do have occasional seconds and samples sales. Sign up for the newsletter to be sure you don't miss them!
What are your environmental practices?
PACKAGING. Ceramics require a lot of padding to travel safely, and we do our best to use environmentally sound materials. We only purchase biodegradable products recyclable cardboard and paper goods and packing peanuts made from corn. Sometimes we do reuse packing materials so rest assured any plastic in your packaging is in its second life.
